About this Event

"Birth of a Thousand Moons" is a presentation of powerful works on polaroid and 35mm by Muyassar Kurdi. These works aim to provoke conversation around the sensual power, glory and innate femininity of the female body. The collection of works are in direct opposition of appeasing the male gaze but in turn provides self liberation, strength and sensuality for women.

"Body Poetics" is a sound performance that will create a full sensory accompaniment to this powerful exhibition. To close out this wonderfully curated show we invite you to share space, energy and time with Muyassar Kurdi and Art Jones as they provide a soundtrack to these magnificent works.
