Body, Mind and Spirit Mental Health Expo 2022

(Birmingham, AL) – Khairi and Little Angel’s Memorial (KLA Memorial) is no stranger to Jefferson County. KLA Memorial's upcoming in-person event coming Sunday, October 23, 2022, is significant because the organization wants everyone to truly understand the importance of their mental health. After all, we all have mental issues whether we want to admit it or not. However, we must learn to address issues with our mental health before it gets too far gone. Indeed no one wants to admit when things are wrong. We want everything to always be right but that is not how life is. We are going to have some things go right and some things go wrong, we have to learn positive ways and adopt better techniques when things do not go our way.

In 2019 we helped approximately100 people that attended the event with free medical screenings, eye exams and much more. Body, Mind and Spirit Mental Health Expo was designed to allow families the opportunity to come out and enjoy a variety of vendors that relate to your mental health. It allows citizens the opportunity to ask a panel of mental health experts about things they have concerns about and it also allows them to visit local vendor tables with products and services for the body, mind and spirit for instance with the body we have Zumba, Esthetician, etc. Things for the mind such as counseling, meditation, etc. Things for the spirit such as things that satisfy the person like clothing, food, jewelry, etc.
