Body Language Speaks #3

As the days are getting shorter and colder, it gets harder to keep in touch with our body and with moving. Body Language Speaks aims to provide a bubble that will allow us to get connected with our bodies:

Connecting to ourselves by exploring and giving attention to our body, and connecting to eachothers by playing, moving, reacting, sensing and experiencing together. This workshop will specifically explore the scale between having our focus on ourselves and having our focus on the group.

Using a somatic dance approach, with kinaesthetic awareness and contact improvisation exercises - we will use the three hours we have together to discover what our body already knows. By touching and being touched, imaginations, questions and sensations we will discover again how much knowledge our body carries, and how much we know when we let the body speak.

The workshop will be guided by Amit Palgi - dancer and choreographer exploring the connection of somatic approaches and contact improvisation, and developing different methods to get in touch our body intuition.The workshop is open for everyone that has the curiosity to be in contact with their body.
