Your upper body flexibility and strength greatly impact your dancing from your basic posture to all your Bachata Sensual and Zouk moves and combos.
Let's move those upper body, open our chest, oil our ribcage, free our shoulder blades and feel the impact it will have on our dancing.
We will focus specifically on what to strengthen and activate to maintain a good frame and achieve a smooth and free upper body motion for cambres, lean forwards, dips and body rolls and more.
After a series of exercises, we will apply the new concepts you learned to your dance movement.
This is for LEADS and FOLLOWS. Remember you can only lead with your body and use contra-motion if you know how to move your own body.
Please bring a mat with you or at least a thick towel. I will have some resistance bands available but feel free to bring yours.
