About this Event
About the Work
Bodies of Water is a playful, multi-sensory performance experience weaving together movement, choreography, water, objects and sound. We encounter water in our everyday lives - through our bodies and environment. Bodies of Water invites us to immerse ourselves in a unique performance experience, as we explore and celebrate this transformative element that connects all living things. You can see a short trailer here https://vimeo.com/384422832
Bodies of Water was originally created by Aya Kobayashi, Nicolette Macleod, Saffy Setohy & Joanna Young. For the 2025 tour, Bodies of Water is performed by Saffy Setohy, Nicolette Macleod, Aya Kobayashi, Simone Kenyon and Laura Bradshaw.
About the Public Rehearsal
As we prepare for touring, two sets of performers will take Bodies of Water on the road:
- Aya Kobayashi & Simone Kenyon
- Saffy Setohy & Laura Bradshaw
These pairings have never performed the show together in front of an audience, making this rehearsal a crucial opportunity for development—and a unique chance for you to get an early look at the work ahead of the tour.
We are also currently booking additional tour dates for Autumn/Winter 2025. If you’re interested in programming the piece, see our Tourbook profile, and let’s chat!
Event Details - Tuesday 25th March
These 2 sharings are for the purposes of a photography shoot for both performance pairs. Audience members may appear in the photographs. Photographs will be used for promotional and marketing purposes, appearing on social media, websites and other media platforms.
