About this Event

Seed of Liberation’s Bodies in Bloom Sessions provide a space for artists to commune and practice figurative art as a pathway to a larger abolitionist practice. We center art as a practice of liberation, body sovereignty, and collective imagination.

Tickets are priced at $10 for general admission / $15 for general admission and materials

Community Guidelines

These are community guidelines aimed at respecting our models’ vulnerability and making sure we are all safe and comfortable:

1. Respect the model! No photography or phone use while models are posing. If you have to make or take a call, you will need to leave the room during a break.
2. Entry will not be allowed after 7:30 PM, when modeling begins.
3. Communicate any problems respectfully and privately one-on-one with SOL staff.
4. Be kind and polite, and all will be well! Don’t critique modelling or artwork work unless asked :)

Our programming is intentionally created as an offering for Black and brown people, artists, and organizers. We ask that allies honor this intention and allow this space to remain centered on those it was created for.

Please note that May 2026's Bodies in Bloom will be recorded and photographed by our staff for organizational and promotional purposes. All attendees will be required to sign an appearance release form upon arrival.
