Calling all book lovers and burlesque afficianados: Join Honey Tangerine Productions for our monthly event Bodice Rippers Burlesque - A Burlesque Show and Book Club in one!
Each month features a new book club selection and a rotating cast of Burlesque, Drag and Variety performers to help bring it to life. Throughout the show we will discuss the literary themes of each book and delve into the signifcance and symbolism with one-of-a-kind performances.
Patrons can also browse a uniquely curated used book sale each month and enjoy snacks provided by Laughing Lotus.
THURSDAY JUNE 18
Bodice Rippers Burlesque is paying homage to Disco Witches of Fire Island by Blair Fell - A novel about the magic of the queer community and disco dancing set during the early days of the AIDS pandemic.
