About this Event
Bodega Sound Library is a platform for artists to share the stories behind the 10 songs that have most influenced their lives and work.
Each artist will engage in an intimate conversation in front of a live audience, exploring the personal and historical context of their selections. It’s an event series meant to create unique opportunites for artists and audiences to build community and connect through music and storytelling.

Lee Levingston Perine (he/him) is a St. Louis–born, Washington, DC–based curator, creative producer, and community historian who is an expansive ambassador of joy. He is the founder of Black in Space (formerly Makers Lab), an LGBTQ+ arts collective dedicated to Black joy, creativity, and liberation through digital content, archival work, and public programming. His work centers the voices of Black LGBTQ elders and ancestors while building new cultural spaces for connection and visibility.
