Bobby Dove is a magnetic presence in the world of Country and Americana
music, with a voice as powerful as their storytelling. The Montreal-born,
singer-songwriter pays tribute to the golden age of Country, while crafting
original, emotionally charged songs that “blend genres with the touch of a
master.” (Mary Gauthier)
In 2021 Bobby released their sophomore record, Hopeless Romantic, co- produced with Blue Rodeo's Bazil Donovan, and Tim Vesely (Rheostatics). The album gained international acclaim and climbed the Canadian Roots and US
Alt-Country radio charts. Touring extensively, Bobby Dove has given highlight performances at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, Vancouver Island Music
Fest, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Dauphin’s Countryfest, National Arts Centre (Ottawa), AmericanaFest, SXSW and Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht, NL. Along the road, Bobby has shared stages with luminaries such as Fats Kaplin, Mary Gauthier, Richard Thompson, Asleep at the Wheel, and Lavender Country.
Currently based in rural Manitoba,
Bobby is preparing to tour their upcoming full-length release “Fortune Teller” which drops April 24th 2026. Produced by Aaron Goldstein (Kathleen Edwards/City and Colour), the new record features 13 tracks, including a cowrite/duet with Grammy winning singer-songwriter Jim Lauderdale.
