🛟 ☀️ Bobbi’s Floatapalooza is a public float trip on Spoon River where everyone gets together for a full day of floating, relaxing, music, drinks, and summer fun!
We will meet at Gebby’s Family Restaurant at 8:30 A.M. If you plan to eat breakfast, please be there by 8:30 A.M. so we can leave by 9:30 A.M. to head to Spoon River.
If you’ve never done a float trip before, we will be floating down the river in tubes for several hours, stopping along the way to relax, swim, socialize, and enjoy the outdoors. This is a laid-back event with good people and good vibes.
The event is free. Just bring your own float supplies, water shoes, food, drinks, and anything else you want for the day. The checklist photo has good ideas of things people commonly bring. Waterproof speakers and rope/straps are optional. Rope/straps are only needed if you want to tie up with your group.
Please bring a trash bag and help clean up after yourself so we can keep Spoon River clean.
Drinking is allowed for those 21+, but please be responsible and respectful. Absolutely no underage drinking.
Drop-in location, parking info, and get-out coordinates will be posted in the event discussion closer to the date.
