Join us at Oracle Books for the return of Bob Stewart on Friday, October 11th at 7pm.Bob Stewart is a composer/singer-songwriter from Athens, Ohio. Stewart’s songs reflect musical influences such as John Prine, James Taylor and Bruce Cockburn. In addition to writing songs, he composes and performs finger-style guitar instrumentals with musical hints of legendary blues artist Robert Johnson.
Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna) describes Stewart as “a great talent with a great artistic body of work worthy of being heard,” “an adult guitar player and singer,” and “a bona fide artist.”
Frontman for the Athens-based Bob Stewart Band (bobstewartband.com) beginning in 2002, Stewart began performing as a solo artist after Covid.
