Help Us Plant 100 Native Trees and Shrubs Along the River!
Join us at the Holyoke Rows boathouse at Jones Ferry on Wednesday, October 15, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, as we continue to improve and beautify the riverbank.
Details: We’re planting 100 native trees and shrubs to restore the landscape and enhance the environment.
Volunteers are welcome to join for the full day or just a few hours.
Please wear sturdy shoes and bring a shovel if you have one. The area has already been cleared of invasive plants and poison ivy, making for easier planting conditions. Be ready to work on uneven ground.
We’re looking for 5–10 volunteers—can we count on you? Not up for planting? Feel free to stop by with snacks or refreshments for the team!
