a lot of people are asking for a Sarasota Trump boat parade in the Boaters for Trump group! I'll put one together to try and get the word out! ?as of now, looking at Saturday, Oct 12 10am-12pm.
3️⃣ WEEKS BEFORE VOTING! ? ☑️
still figuring out a route, but I figured we could all meet under the Ringling Bridge near Marina Jacks at 10am and head north toward Passage Key/Egmont Key and then anchor if you'd like to hang or swim!
??I'm choosing this route in case large vessels are joining in and then there may only be 2 bridges needed openings (cortez bridge and manatee ave bridge) or larger vessels may only want to open longboat key pass bridge and take the gulf to passage key or egmont key.
?? BRIDGES ARE ALWAYS CHANNEL 09 on vhf radio! they may be every half hour openings!

Please respect all boaters space, meaning please keep a safe distance from each boat joining in. if you have done the Gasparilla parade, it may be smart to put fenders out while underway in the parade like I did pictured above. IYKYK ? remember to update your insurance & tow company membership (Boat US or seatow)
Any conflicts/problems please radio sarasota police on channel 16. Sarasota Police/LBK Police will most likely be patrolling ? ??

10th street boat ramp AKA Centennial Park
make sure to check if you have to pay to park. I believe it's $5 or $10 for the day.
