Join us for our First Annual July Jamboree Boat Parade! Find a spot around Fountain Lake to enjoy!WHERE | Boats will meet in Edgewater Bay, near the Bayside Ski area.
WHEN | Saturday, July 2nd. Arrive at the staging area by 2:30pm, parade will start at 3pm!
WHAT | All boats/pontoons must be motorized, ie. no paddle boats (canoes, SUP, kayaks, etc). Please decorate your rig, as we will have a "Crowd Favorite", "Most Wild", & "Albert Lea Pride" awards given out following the parade! Know that all decorations will be viewed by kiddos, so no profanity etc.
HOW | The Sheriff's office will have a water patrol boat with lights to lead the line of boats around Fountain Lake counter-clockwise. The parade will take a full lap around Fountain Lake, ending back in Edgewater Bay. There will not be an order, so once you arrive at the staging area, just get in line. Be polite & considerate of your neighbors- we want this event to grow & happen for year's to come! There is no fee to participate, but we want folks to register so that we have a way of contacting you about any changes or updates we may need to get out to participants!
