ANNOUNCING SPOOKY ORGANIZED WARHAMMER 40,000 PLAY!!!
Bring a Warhammer 40K Boarding Action Force to Victory Comics for a three round Boarding Action tournament.
What: Maximum eight player Boarding Action Tournament with three rounds. $10 registration fee to be paid on the day of the event. Use rules in the Warhammer 40,000: Boarding Action book.
Where: Victory Comics. 586 S Washington St. Falls Church, VA 22046
When: Saturday October 11, 2025. Check in at 1100. First Round at 1115. Lunch at 1300. Second round at 1345. Last Round 1545.
Why: To have fun playing 500 point games of Warhammer 40K using boarding action terrain.
Who: The first eight people to sign up.
This tournament will use the Rules for Boarding Actions. Each round will be 1v1 and four boarding action terrain maps will be set up prior to the tournament. What could be spookier than fighting enemies in a blasted-out space hulk? Nothing. Come celebrate the spooky season with Warhammer 40k. We will be using maps: the pipeline, power struggle, death in the dark, and control centre from the symmetrical map section of the Boarding Action book. After three rounds, the winningest player will win the tournament or the player with the highest combined VP total in the case of a tie. Awards will be given for best painted army and best opponent, amongst other things.
There will be no banned factions or detachments. Please ensure your boarding action force meets the requirements per the Boarding Action book. Please review the modification to the rules, especially movement, line of sight, and leaders. We will be using the most current Munitorum Field Manual for points, and we will use both the current balance dataslate and rules update. I would appreciate it if you can bring additional Boarding Action books or print out the rules for your faction.
