We are excited for another Board Game Social, the new monthly event where we invite board game enthusiasts to come share their passion for meeples and cardboard! Bring a friend, meet new ones, bring some games, and revel in the hobby that we all share!
The Board Game Social is a casual event specifically created to nurture an easygoing board game hangout, and the inaugural event last month was a blast! We’re aiming for a mellow gathering of like-minded folks who want to play their favorite games or find new ones in our game library. We want this to be a fun, no stress way to meet and play with new people, and we learned a lot last time about how to do that better, so it will be super easy to find new games to join!
As a bonus, each month we’ll have a staff member on hand showing a board game that’s currently got the attention of people here at the store, or out in the wide world. We’ll be giving away at least one copy of the featured game as a random door prize, and each month attendees will get a special discount on that game (discount varies by game, day of event only)!
This month’s game is HORRIFIED!
The stakes have been raised. Imagine living in a place so wretched that it's plagued by more than one monster! In this game, you'll come face to face with them all as you work together to rid the town of the maniacal or misunderstood creatures…before it's too late.
Horrified has innovative, easy-to-learn, cooperative gameplay and has players working together against the monsters with varying levels of difficulty. Just as each monster is unique, they require different strategies and tactics to be defeated.
