It is that time of the year, folks! The weather has chilled and the holidays are almost done, so that means BOAR FEST!!!!!
Come join the Barony of Tir Ysgithr as we celebrate the holiday season in style with delicious food, drink, and merriment for free! Our Food will be a Potluck – Please see below for suggestions on what to bring.
Are you a Brewer? Please bring your delicious winter brews to share for our Brewing Contest!
Do you like gifts? Please bring a gift and participate in our White Boar gift exchange. It’s like a White Elephant exchange but better because BOARS!!!!! Gifts should be a wrapped, new, purchased item no less than $5.00 and no more than $20.00 We will have an Over 21 years old Exchange (Alcohol gifts allowed) and a Under 21 year old Exchange (Non-Alcohol gifts required).
We will have a Medieval-Themed Photo Booth area for those who are having too much fun to remember to take photos.
Are you a skilled fighter? Put on a blindfold and test yourself in a Windchime Tournament.
None of the above sound good? Musicians, please bring your instruments and play your merry tunes! We will have singing and country and court dancing as well! Any Royal or Baronial Court will be at the discretion of TRM and TE of Tir Ysgithr.
Let us call up the Ghost of Fop Revels Past and enjoy the company of this BOAR FEST REVEL!
We aim to have SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!! So, on the night before Southern War Practice, come get your party on at BOAR FEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Join in on the Pot Luck – Please consider the below suggested item types to bring, but all contributions are welcome!
Disposable Feast Gear (Plates, bowls, cups and utensils) will be provided by the Hosts, but feel free to bring your own feast gear and don’t forget your tankards and goblets.
Royal Peers, Thegns and Bannthegns: A Main Roasted or Smoked Protein
Chivalry, Laurels, Pelicans, MODs: A Main Dish to feed 8-12 gentlefolk - Vegetarian entrees welcome!
Armigers and Ships: A Side Dish to feed 8-12 gentlefolk – If you bring a bread, please bring a spread to accompany it! If you bring a bag of chips, please don’t forget the dip!
