Join us for a special evening celebrating the art of poetry, performance, and the legacy of the late, celebrated BOA poet, Lucille Clifton, at our 26th annual Dine & Rhyme fundraiser! Your support will help us advance contemporary literature and foster a vibrant literary community.Event Highlights:
Master of Ceremonies: Thomas Warfield will guide us through the evening, encouraging donations and bidding on exciting auction items.
Featured Interview/Presentation: Acclaimed poet Kazim Ali will introduce us to his newest book, Black Buffalo Woman: An Introduction to the Poetry & Poetics of Lucille Clifton.
Book Signing: Kazim Ali will be signing copies of Black Buffalo Woman as well as his previous BOA books, The Fortieth Day and The Oasis Now.
Dance Performance: Vitolio Jeune will captivate the audience with a dance choreographed to a poem.
Refreshments: Enjoy delicious food and drink throughout the evening.
