Boa Basics- A Class with L0lita Shadows

Have you always wanted to learn how to hypnotize an audience with a boa-heavy act? Or perhaps you’ve got the basics down and you simply want to turn up the volume on your boa skills? Look no further than Boa Basics with L0lita Shadows (spelled with a zero to appease the bots), which is part of the 2026 “Monthly Mondays” class series.
L0lita has been performing for 14 years and owns the L0lita Shadows School of Burlesque in Pueblo. Besides educating students in Colorado, L0lita has also taught classes in Las Vegas as part of GLCC.
In this class you will learn the basics on how to get the most from your boa act. From learning more than 30 possible moves you can make with your boa, to learning how to make your own spectacular boa, this class will cover everything you’ve always wanted to know on the subject.
This class will be a mixture of information and physical movements. Students will be able to alter movements to match their physical abilities. Good for all skill levels. Students are encouraged to bring clothing they can move comfortably in and a boa if they own one.
Classes that are part of “Monthly Mondays” are pay-what-you-can, but Boa Basics has a suggested price of $15-$20 which can be paid by cash, Venmo, Paypal, or Cashapp. This class has no limit on the number of students allowed in (besides what the room can safely hold.) Class takes place in the rehearsal space of Buntport Theater, located at 717 Lipan St. in Denver.
