Do-it-yourself psych-punk savants hailing from Brighton UK, bloodying lobes with their erratic live shows. Taking notes from the hypnotic grooves of Can, & fuzz tones of 60s garage rock. Founded out of necessity by Charlie Hales experimenting with home recording, soon after adding brother Felix Hales on drums, and Ferghal Hughes on Bass.

THE HARRY HAYES BAND (The Harry Hayes Band)
Harry Hayes is a prolific Lewes-based songwriter and producer. For a long time a (mostly) solitary home-recording project, he is finally hitting the stage to perform with a 3 piece band featuring members The Stanford Family Band and SHBBP.
Confidently swaying between gentle country ballads and soaring rock crescendos, at the heart of Hayes’ music is always the expression of classic and direct songwriting. Heavily influenced by the ethos and sound of the 1960s Laurel Canyon folk scene, he plays with conventions and expectations to create something a little obtuse but always just within reach.

THE KITCHEN SINK BAND (The Kitchen Sink Band)
8-piece who make synth-heavy post-punk grooves. Half the band moved here from Colchester and the band expanded and came to life at jam nights at The Druids Head. Hints of The Fall if they drank tiki cocktails with the little umbrellas in.
They sing songs about Russian laboratory experiments in the 1940’s, suicidal English comedians, and Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman in which he plays a blind man (also suicidal).
