The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital invites you to its Teddy Bear Clinic on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Rutgers Day, one of New Jersey’s landmark spring events. The clinic will be located on the Busch Campus from 10 am – 2 pm or until supplies last. Bring your own stuffed animal or receive a limited-edition Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital teddy bear. Each check-up features interactive stations where kids can admit their bear to the hospital, take their vitals, administer medication, and then get dressed for the operating room where they will learn about what happens in surgery.
This activity is recommended for children ages 2-10 years old. In addition to having fun, the purpose of the clinic is to reduce the fear and anxiety associated with going to the hospital and to doctor visits for kids when they are sick.
