Bmore Reads Together: An Intergenerational Book Club

Welcome to our multigenerational book club, hosted by book experts from the Baltimore Transformative Learning Collective. During this program teens and their caregivers come together to share, discuss, and celebrate the power of storytelling!

Whether you're a teen discovering new worlds or an adult looking to dive into complex, timely titles, this group offers a unique opportunity to connect across generations through the magic of books. Join us for lively discussions, different perspectives, and a chance to broaden your reading horizons. All are welcome—whether you're a seasoned reader or just getting started!

Light snacks will be provided as part of the program. Free copies of the books will be raffled off to attendees, with April giving away copies of May's books.

In April our book selection focuses on mental health, attendees are encouraged to read by John Schu, recommended for teens, or by Kate Manne, recommended for adults.

In May our book selection focuses on authenticity, attendees are encouraged to read by Tony Weaver Jr., recommended for teens, or by Ta-Nehisi Coates, recommended for adults.

While we recommend selections based on age, please feel encouraged to read which ever title looks most interesting to you!
