ONE-OFF PROMOTIONS present BLYTH POWER + THE METATRONS + THE LOST SQUIRRELS at Wharf Chambers, Leeds on Sunday 21st June 2026. Please note this is matinee show, bar open from 1pm, gig room at 2pm. A one-day only exclusive cask ale will be bought in especially for the event, supplied by Zapato Brewery. Delicious vegan food will also be available to buy on the day. All ages welcome - children must be accompanied by an adult.

BLYTH POWER were formed in 1984 by singer and drummer Joseph Porter, formerly of Zounds and The Mob. Forty-odd years later they are still surprising audiences with their evolving blend of folk and punk rock. Joseph, Annie, Ben, Dion & Hugo are celebrating the Summer solstice by returning to their favourite Leeds venue after a two-year absence.
THE METATRONS are a delightfully fuzzy Riot-Pop band from Hertfordshire. After signing to Chapter 22 Records they released their "Deconstruction" album, which was a fantastic critical success, being called "The pinnacle of quality pop" and "a thunderous slice of pop majesty". Vive le Rock said the album was "bursting with bright, breezy driving rhythms...you should hear them". The band toured the album, opening for Altered Images on their UK tour in 2022 to add to the list of great bands they've worked with - Shonen Knife, Echobelly, The Primitives, Dodgy, The Blockheads, The Darling Buds, The Membranes, Steve Craddock, The Lovely Eggs and Glen Matlock to name but a few. 2023 and 2024 had more great shows and a summer full of festival appearances, as they released their 4th album "Lumination" on Chapter 22 Records in June. Album no.5 "The Ever-Present Now" coming in June 2026!
THE LOST SQUIRRELS are Harry, Peter, Gilbert and Finlay, West Leeds teenagers who combine catchy choruses, bouncy guitar riffs and downright bizarre subjects in a beautifully eccentric manner. This is their first time at Wharf Chambers - although you may recognise singing-drummer Peter from his other band, Indignation Meeting.
