BLW Scottsdale at Salt River Fields

Big League WIFFLE Ball has launched a 10 team professional wiffle ball league that consists of four tournaments throughout the fall! All ages are invited to join Big League WIFFLE Ball to challenge or compete alongside the professional teams.

Each tournament will have its own personality and offerings. See tournament dates & details below:

Tailgating in Tempe in partnership with the Diablos

Compete in one, compete in them all! Teams are able to register for more than one tournament. Please see the separate tournament pages to register.

Divisions

Upon registration, teams can choose between a Competitive, more skilled and experienced division to compete against the franchise teams in Big League WIFFLE Ball, and a Recreational, more relaxed division. Both divisions include playoffs and a championship.

​42 Teams will compete in the tournament at the Spring Training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies. Games are 4 innings or 1 hour; whichever comes first. Teams can choose between two divisions upon registration: Competitive and Recreational. All teams are guaranteed 3 morning games before being seeded for the single elimination playoff bracket. First place and second place teams in both divisions will receive a commemorative trophy.

Players can participate in a home run derby in between games. The cost is $5 per person and can be purchased ahead of time on Eventbrite or on-site.

Details:

• Each team can have 3 to 5 players. All ages are welcome.

• Defense will have 3 players, which includes the pitcher.

• No base running. There will be designated singles, doubles, triples and home runs.

• Teams will need to bring their own bats and balls, which will be inspected before play.

• Scuffing is allowed in different variations depending on division. See the rule book on our website for more details.

• Teams are required to dress in the same color.

Attendees:

• General Admission tickets are available for $10 through the Eventbrite event page or at the door. Youth under 13 years of age are free. Player entry is covered by team registration fee.
  

Prohibited Items:

• The following items are not permitted in the stadium: illegal drugs, fireworks, firearms or weapons of any kind, pepper spray, and outside food and beverage (except for one sealed, plastic bottle of water). All bags are subject to search upon entering.
