BLW Lone Star Showdown at Frisco RoughRiders Ballpark

Big League WIFFLE Ball's 2025-26 Season continues with the Lone Star Showdown at the Frisco RoughRiders Ballpark! All ages are welcome to form a team of 3-5 players and compete in either the recreational or competitive division.

Divisions

Upon registration, teams can choose between a competitive, more skilled and experienced division to compete against the ten franchise teams in Big League WIFFLE Ball, and a Recreational, more relaxed division. Both divisions include playoffs and a championship. It's recommended that those with no "fast-pitch" wiffle ball experience participate in the recreational division.

​42 Teams will compete in the tournament at the home of the Frisco RoughRiders. Once 42 teams are filled, BLW will open an 8 team waitlist. Games are 4 innings or 50 minutes; whichever comes first. Teams can choose between two divisions upon registration: Competitive and Recreational. All teams are guaranteed 3 morning games before being seeded for the single elimination playoff bracket. First place teams in both divisions will receive a commemorative trophy.

Players can participate in a home run derby in between games. The cost is $5 per person and can be purchased ahead of time on Eventbrite or on-site.

Details:

• Each team can have 3 to 5 players. All ages are welcome.

• Defense will have 3 players, excluding the pitcher.

• No base running. There will be designated singles, doubles, triples and home runs.

• Teams will need to bring their own bats and balls, which will be inspected before play.

• Scuffing is allowed in different variations depending on division. See the rule book on our website for more details.

• Teams are required to dress in the same color. Uniforms are encouraged.

Attendees:

• General Admission tickets are available for $10 through the Eventbrite event page or at the door. Youth under 13 years of age are free. Player entry is covered by team registration fee.

Prohibited Items:

• The following items are not permitted in the stadium: illegal drugs, fireworks, firearms or weapons of any kind, pepper spray, and outside food and beverage (except for one sealed, plastic bottle of water). All bags are subject to search upon entering the stadium.
