The legendary Blurt return to The Nest to kick off the New Year in style!
Blurt was formed in 1979 in Stroud, Gloucestershire, by poet, saxophonist, and puppeteer Ted Milton. The band, known for its unique blend of post-punk, no wave, jazz-rock, and art-rock, quickly gained a reputation for intense, theatrical live performances. Their sound is characterized by simple, repetitive, minimalistic guitar/saxophone phrases and Ted Milton's existentialist poetry and vocal performances.
They made their recording debut on Factory Records and have since released albums on numerous labels, maintaining their distinct idiosyncrasy throughout a career spanning over four decades
