āØ 2026 marks a huge milestone as the Mackay and District Pipe Band celebrates its 100th Anniversary, and this yearās Fling is set to be MASSIVE.
The celebration kicks off with a mass band marching over the bridge into Mackayās Bluewater Quay, setting the tone for an afternoon filled with:
š¶ Stirring pipe band performances
š„ Thundering drums
š“ Guest pipe bands
šµ And of course, the pride of Mackay - the Mackay and District Pipe Band
