âš 2026 marks a huge milestone as the Mackay and District Pipe Band celebrates its 100th Anniversary, and this yearâs Fling is set to be MASSIVE.
The celebration kicks off with a mass band marching over the bridge into Mackayâs Bluewater Quay, setting the tone for an afternoon filled with:
đ¶ Stirring pipe band performances
đ„ Thundering drums
đŽ Guest pipe bands
đ” And of course, the pride of Mackay - the Mackay and District Pipe Band
