Next up on our blues agenda are two afternoon workshops led by Emily Troe, which will build a solid foundation for our dancers focused on connection and relaxed movement. The afternoon’s offerings include:
• 1:00pm – The Blues Aesthetic – An in-depth introduction to blues dance. Great for dancers of all experience levels.
• 3:00pm – Follow the Leader – A deeper understanding in lead/follow dynamics in blues. Attendance at the first workshop or prior experience in blues dance is expected for this class.
No partner required. Each workshop is $20 per person, $15 for students with school ID. Better yet, snag yourself a more than 20% discount by paying up front for all of Saturday’s activities, including the two workshops and our wine social in the evening. The ALL-DAY PASS is $55 per person and $40 for students.
