APRIL FOOLS BLUES JAM

As most of you know, I will be taking a step back from Temperance at the end of March and passing on the baton to Emma and James.

To mark the occasion, we are inviting all our friends to join us for a celebration, fittingly on April 1st. A great opportunity for us to say thank you to the people who have made Temperance such a special place and to wish the new custodians all the very best taking it forward.

The evening will feature an all-star blues jam session with some of our favourite local musicians. All the ticket money will go to The Esther Project and the artists have very kindly agreed to perform for free.

Confirmed musicians so far are Beth Brooks, James Knight, Adam Phillips, Shanade, Steve Walwyn, Horace Panter, Stevie Watts, John Parker, Ben Haines and lots more (tbc). It will be chaos but that’s all part of the fun!

We will be moving some of the chairs from the gig room to allow people to move around more freely, not least to get to the bar, and will be screening the music upstairs and in the side room.

We hope you can join us to mark the end of one era and the beginning of another. I thank you all for all your support. And we hope to see you there!

Doors 7pm. Music from 7:30 until late. Just £10.

The Esther Project is a Leamington charity dedicated to supporting women experiencing mental health challenges, escaping domestic abuse, recovering from addiction, transitioning from Pr*son, or facing homelessness.
