With one of the biggest voices in the Midwest, acoustic guitar in hand, and harmonica at her fingertips, Kelsey Miles delivers high-energy shows of blues, rock, and soul. She will take you on a musical celebration of the soul; where you'll laugh, cry, sing along, and dance the night away. Kelsey is in town working on a new studio album and we're over the moon to welcome the band to the Red Rooster for a feature set and to host this weeks blues jam.
Not only has Kelsey Miles won numerous MAMA and WAMI awards while she lived Wisconsin, she will be representing her new hometown of Kansas City in the International Blues Challenge in 2025. The band joining her in-studio and for the Red Rooster show will feature a cast of Madison's finest talent including Todd Phipps on organ, Joe White on drums, Adam Nauman on guitar, and Jarrad Lander on bass.
Musician sign-ups for the jam will start at 6p. Kelsey and her band will play a feature set from 7-8p, and then the jammers will take to the stage to showcase their skills! Join us early for some great food and drink specials, and stick around for a great evening of blues music!
