Award winning jazz vocalist Louise Balkwill has been making waves on the European jazz scene, captivating listeners with her charismatic, blues-infused, honest and virtuosic-yet-unpretentious take on vocal jazz.
Accompanying her is Malcolm Earle-Smith. In-demand trombonist and vocalist Malcolm has been at the heart of the thriving London jazz scene for over 20 years. His deep and versatile engagement with the jazz tradition has been sought out by many major jazz and pop artists. As professor of jazz at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire since 2007, Malcolm has played an important role in shaping what has been called the new 'UK jazz explosion', mentoring the next generation of young British jazz artists.
