The Blues Brothers were characters developed by Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi on Saturday Night Live. A feature film was made in 1980 starring Belushi as "Joliet" Jake Blues and Aykroyd as his brother Elwood as they try to put the band back together to save an orphanage. It featured musical numbers by rhythm and blues (R&B), soul, and blues singers James Brown, Cab Calloway, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Chaka Khan, John Lee Hooker and more. This tribute performs all the great music from the film and some comedic skits by the boys in black and a dozen or so of their friends. This show gets claps and laughs every time.
