Bluebird Telegraph jazz duo (Craig Galambos, Laurie Fuhr) presents a Backyard Jazz Cafe at 1030 21 Ave SE in Ramsay, Calgary, on the Blue Diamond Stage, site of the famous Fence is Down rock shows! BT is fundraising to make an album, and a portion of proceeds will be donated to Canadian Cancer Society.
Rain or shine -- if it rains but is warm, we'll have a canopy; if it's rainy and cold, we'll be inside next door (1032).
Entry is $20 cash at the door or etransfer to lauriefuhr at gmail dot com. Sliding scale admission available for low income music lovers.
BYOB (if desired); light refreshments and non-alcoholic options available.
Seating available, or bring your fave cushy sit-upon.
Come enjoy hot coffee and cool music, with plenty of favourite jazz standards presented in our 'Django jazz' style!
