PROJECT BACKGROUND: Blue Zones Project Petaluma is working with the City of Petaluma and community partners to conduct a dark hours (nighttime) trail and pathways audit to better understand the needs related to trail and pathways usage. We are collaboratively conducting a Nighttime (dark-hours) audit of Petaluma’s more popular recreational trails and neighborhood locations that can help lead to improvements that extend the window of participation, particularly during the darker times of year. By gathering to carry out such an audit, then canvasing the community, Petaluma can identify needed improvements, maintenance needs, or policy/system changes that will lead to safer conditions and increased use for all ages and abilities.
SPONSORSHIP
This program is generously sponsored thanks to our Blue Zones Project Petaluma sponsors: Healthy Petaluma District and Foundation, The City of Petaluma and Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital.
