On Tuesday, May 14 from 4:30pm to 6pm, I'll present "Blue Suede Jews" at 3501 Civic Center Drive, Room 427 in San Rafael This will feature vintage film clips of major Jewish rock performers of the 1960s and 1970s. Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, Carole King, Lesley Gore, Peter Green of the original Fleetwood Mac, Manfred Mann, and other artists will be featured and discussed. Admission is free. This program will also be presented at the Fairfax Library on Thursday, May 9 from 6pm-7:30pm. This event will not be recorded.
