Are you a military family in the Monterey area? You’re invited to your local Starbucks to connect with other #milfams in the community on Friday, September 30th at 6pm for a Blue Star Welcome Week event! ?? ☕️ ⭐️ New to the community? Join us to learn about local places to explore.
⭐️ Been here for awhile? Join us and share your favorite museums, parks, ice cream shops, and more.
There will be free coffee and treats from Starbucks (while supplies last), gift card giveaways from Blue Star Families, and crafts for all! Come solo, take a friend, or bring the whole family. This is a FREE event where all military family members are welcome!

Around 600,000 active-duty and transitioning military families move each year, and these days, those moves are not onto bases but into local neighborhoods where folks can face isolation. Blue Star Welcome Week, held from September 24 to October 2, 2022, is a nationwide campaign to build a better sense of belonging and community for all of us.
