The Blue Moon Trail Run is a fun and challenging local race provided by the City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department.The 3-time run series is offered on the fourth Friday evenings of May, June, and July. In addition to the race series, a Reverse Biathlon and Triathlon race will be offered for May only. Kids on Bikes will also be at each race and providing a FREE Kids Strider Bike Race!
The running races start and finish in Piñon Valley Park in northwest Colorado Springs, but primarily run within neighboring Ute Valley Park.
All races include climbs to beautiful vistas, Kids Strider Bike Races with Kids on Bikes, and kids races for those aged 12 and under.
