You are invited for a Blue Lotus Tea Ceremony ? and a Handpan Sound Journey on Sunday, December 10th from 15-17 at the beautiful yurt of Mahara in Amsterdam. This is the sunset special to collectively journey into the night/candle light in a safe, sacred and connected space in the middle of a zen garden oasis, guided by the spirit of the majestic blue lotus flower.

This is for all the curious souls, and those who are interested to explore traditional and natural healing medicines, in a sacred ritual for connection, health benefits and soul with live sound journey by Musician Leela. The theme of this ritual is around Blue Lotus Flower spirit for BALANCE and PEACE within all of us.

THE INTENTION

Blue Lotus plants have been used ceremonial wise and for medicinal purposes back in Ancient Egypt and India. Your host Leila has been working with this plant for over years now and feel deeply connected to bring this sacred plant in the form of an ancient tea ceremony, and together integrate those ancient wisdoms into our daily life. Through challenging time and space as it is now, the essence of the blue lotus flower is tickling our awareness with a majestic and mystical touch to support our being within the process of healing, purification, transformation and a deep feeling of divinity. Drinking with intention, the lotus transforms/shifts the lower energy into higher, going from root to crown, resembling the natural growth of the flower.

This is functional plant medicine (non-psychedelic) through a milder amount, but you will be likely to feel the effect of heart-opening, relaxation and peace within.

TEA CEREMONY

For the mindful Tea Ceremony (‘Cha Dao’, the way of nature through tea), Leila will present blue lotus tea and guide you through a tea meditation that cultivates mindful process and fluid flow in a harmonious atmosphere that brings us together and improves our taste bud and senses, health and soul. This ancient way of appreciating tea, the process behind and nature has been around for thousands of years. Tasty, fresh and healthy sweets will be paired with the tea to enhance the senses.

HANDPAN SOUND JOURNEY

Handpan and other instrumental tunes by musician/DJ Leela will create a peaceful yet grounding atmosphere throughout and after the ceremony, taking you on an inner, meditative and sound journey. For especially those who seek to slow down your busy life and to be more present in the moments, this combination will be a mindful way to set a relaxing tune for the week ahead.

This combination evolved from exploring ancient practices, the passion for mindful living and expanding our consciousness through plant medicine. We enjoy supporting each other and co-creating a mindful, creative and loving lifestyle. Aftercare and integration to daily life will be shared, discussed afterwards.
