Blue Light Sessions presents Jenna Doe & Via Castello!

Jenna Doe is a Canadian singer-songwriter whose sound is a master mix of angsty pop, punk and sweet, clever, genuine music. Their career took off on TikTok where Doe began posting music and cultivated a fan base. Their songs aim to create more queer representation within the music industry, a service to their younger self and all queer listeners.

Doe has always loved music and performing live. Ever since they were a kid, Doe has always felt “a little bit different.” Because of their queerness and more masculine gender expression, the artist was used to standing out, and thus naturally gravitated toward “angsty” music. Now, Doe is unapologetic in professions of their queerness.

Via Castello is a whimsical singer-songwriter blending diverse influences from their upbringing in a rural Italian village, and a small Canadian town. Come into their world as they process it through intimate story-telling, ear-catching melodies, and feel right at home within it.

They’re looking forward to releasing more music with their band, Luis DeJesus and Taylor Harrison on guitar, Brett Selinger on bass, and Jay Schreiber on drums. Peak Inside and Fragile, their first two projects, are the product of an incredibly supportive community, with even more new music coming soon.
