As a thank you to all of you who work in our Blue Light and Services staff, we’re again inviting you to a whole series of weekends, especially for you with all tickets for qualifying personnel only £10.00.
This year we are running even more of our Blue Light and Services weekends, which run in May and September.
It’s running for two weekends in September, covering the 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd September 2024
During the Blue Light and Services weekends tickets are only £10 each Per Service guest (other family guests are full price) and can be used by anyone serving in the Military/Police/Fire/NHS/RNLI/Blue Light.
Discounted tickets for the services weekend are for qualifying guests only with proof needed on arrival. All other guests visiting will need a normal entry ticket.
We will be open as normal from 10.00 right through until 17.00, so feel free to arrive any time during the day and stay as long as you like.
So, let’s look at how you could enjoy your day.
First things first – Breakfast
What better way to start the day with a quick and hearty breakfast? We’re serving bacon and sausage cobs in all of our cafes and they are gorgeous. Fresh and smothered in sauce, if that’s how you like it. The first one yo will come to is the Pumpkin Patch Cafe in the Market Square, so you can get yourself fuelled and ready to explore.
Meet Robin Hood
One of the firm favourites to kick off with is the legendary Robin Hood Ride. It’ll take you around his story, you can meet his friends and come face to face with his foes and the kids will love it (you will too)
Monkies as driving instructors?
And then, second on the list is our firm favourite, the Monkey Mayhem Driving School. Your kids will be thoroughly briefed (by Monkies obviously) and then let loose on our awesome, purpose-built track. They will be telling you about their skills for days afterwards. If they’re good enough (don’t worry, they will be), there’s a certificate on offer to take home as a reminder of how talented they really are.
And then off for a boat ride to cool off?
May and September are two of our favourite months as they are often hot, sunny and gorgeous. Our Jolly Pirate Boat Ride is always a popular place to cool off and maybe get a tiny bit splashed as you follow the crazy river through Sundown.
Lunch anyone?
With cafe’s and food outlets around the park, why not enjoy your lunch with us? We offer GREAT value kids meals that they’ll love to eat and some super tasty ones for you too. If you’d prefer to bring your own picnic, you are welcome, and we have created a number of comfy seating areas around the park to enjoy it together.
Ride the afternoon away
For the rest of the afternoon, why not see how many of our rides you can enjoy in one afternoon? There are loads to choose from the super flying Giddy Piggies to the Rocky Mountain Railroad. Take your pick and hop aboard.
Head home happy
We see lots of happy tired families heading home smiling and laughing after a great day. We’re looking forward to welcoming you and your families, to allow us to thank you for your great service.
