Join ASICS and 1st Place Sports for a free event on 5/23 at 6:30 pm at Tepeyolot Cerveceria HOWEVER, donations to NAMI are strongly encouraged. Participants will run 1 mile in blue jeans. In 2020, ASICS elite athlete Johnny Gregorek set out in his favorite pair of blue jeans and set the World Record for the fastest mile ran while wearing blue jeans, all in an effort to raise awareness for Mental Health. ASICS will be donating money to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) for each mile ran and you will be able to donate directly to NAMI during the registration process!Participation is FREE. Donations to NAMI are encouraged.
Sign up via Race Roster, grab your favorite pair of blue jeans, and meet us at Tepeyolot Cerveceria. Limited to the first 100 people to register. Participants will get 1 free beer and a free timed 1 mile race.
Stick around for dinner at the brewery. Tepeyolot has some of the best Mexican food in the city!
