About this Event
The number of MPs from blue collar careers in industry, care, health, retail and manufacturing has declined at every election since the 1960s.
Building on our successful event in 2023, Blue Collar Parliament will bring together newly elected Labour MPs with professional backgrounds in frontline nursing, retail, call centre work and PPCs who faced financial barriers to selection.
We will discuss how to build a new generation of working class and blue collar professional MPs within Labour - what can Labour do to make parliament more representative of Britain?
