For many of us, the holidays are not entirely merry and bright. Grief, illness, loneliness, family changes, difficult memories, or simply a hard season of life can make Christmas complicated. Blue Christmas offers a quieter space in the midst of the season, a time when we don’t have to pretend that everything is joyful in order to gather in the presence of God.
Through scripture, prayer, music, silence, and candlelight, we will make room for sorrow as well as hope, trusting that Christ comes to meet us in both. Whether you are carrying a particular loss or simply need a quiet place to breathe during a busy season, you are welcome.
