BBB is honored to host another Blue Christmas and Potluck for the community. Thank you, St. Bartholomew's Church of Palmer for hosting this event with us. Please bring a dish to share in support."Blue Christmas" refers to feelings of loneliness, sadness, and grief during the holiday season, and is also the name for special church services held around the winter solstice (December 21st) to provide a space for people experiencing this sadness to find comfort and hope.

Purpose: To provide a supportive environment for those who are grieving or struggling to find joy during the holidays.
Activities: These services often include prayers, lighting candles, and singing hymns, and may also involve writing down feelings or creating memory altars.
Symbolism: The services intentionally acknowledge pain and loss, offering a space to remember those who have passed away and find hope in community.
