Blue & Brave
About this Event
We are pleased to invite you to The Met Club’s Law and Order Summit – Blue & Brave: Assembling Law Enforcement Professionals from Across New York.
This special evening is a law enforcement appreciation social, welcoming members of the Club and the public to come together in support of the men and women who serve across New York. The event is an opportunity to show gratitude, foster community, and stand behind those who protect and serve our neighborhoods every day.
We are honored to welcome Joseph Imperatrice, founder of Blue Lives Matter NYC and a recently retired NYPD Sergeant with over 20 years of service, as our featured speaker.
Featuring a reception with pizza, sandwiches, and refreshments served throughout the evening sponsored by Blue Lane Beer company!
About our Guest Speaker: Joseph Imperatrice is a Staten Island native who served in the NYPD for more than two decades, including assignments in the 70th and 7th Precincts, the 9th and 1st Precinct Detective Squads, the Real Time Crime Center, and the Staten Island Detective Bureau. In 2014, following the tragic assassinations of Detectives Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, he co-founded Blue Lives Matter NYC.
Since then, the organization has raised nearly $4 million to support the families of fallen officers and those battling life-threatening illnesses, while also creating meaningful experiences for terminally ill children and their families.
He is also a frequent national media contributor, appearing on Fox News, Newsmax, and in features on Netflix and Vice.
