Healthcare Provider BLS
The American Heart Association's Basic Life Support is a CPR course designed for healthcare professionals who may perform CPR in a variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings or as part of a resuscitation team.
Required for most CNA, nursing, EMT and medical students.
Nurses at all levels, Hygienists, Pharmacists, EMTs, Doctors, etc.
This course covers adult child and infant, CPR, AED (defibrillator) and choking. You will practice bag-valve mask ventilations, rescue breathing, two rescuer CPR, CPR with an advanced airway, and you will take an easy to pass written test.
There is no first aid in a BLS class. If you require First Aid also, the option to add AHA's First Aid class will be offered during registration.
BLS Quick Reference

A two year American Heart Association e-card certification will be issued.
