Picnics under the Blossoms – a japanese tradition borrowed for our apple orchards here in Brum.
If the blossom gods are kind, the two heritage apple orchards will be puffy with blossoms and chef Yumi Okamura will be cooking up her delicious specialities especially for our visitors.
As well as food, there will be some locally based Japanese artists on site selling their work and running drop-in origami and calligraphy sessions.
We advise booking your food early from Yumi (for takeway or eat on site), there will be some avaailble on the day… but why risk it.
Everything is made fresh on the day for you!!
Picnics welcome.
Normal entry fees apply for the Gardens
Courtyard cafe (where the food will be) is free.
