Bloomsday 2022: A Spirited Celebration of the Life and Work of Irish Writer, James Joyce
Maureen E. Mulvihill, a scholar and rare book collector with the Princeton Research Forum, will lead us in a spirited celebration of the life of Irish writer James Joyce - complete with roundtable readings of his work, glasses of Guinness, and traditional Irish music.
About Bloomsday:
Bloomsday is named after Leopold Bloom, the central character in James Joyce's novel, , following the life and thoughts of Leopold Bloom and a host of other characters - real and fictional - from 8 a.m. on June 16, 1904 through to the early hours of the following morning. Order your copy of Ulysses today for pick up or delivery, and feel free to bring it with you to the event. All are welcome to join in on our theatrical readings or simply take it all in while sipping a stout. Don't forget to check out Maureen E. This free in-person event is at our new store at The Mark, 117 S. Pineapple. There is the option an $8 ticket to help defray the cost of the event. Registration will end 1 hour before the event scheduled time.
