BloomBars Presents “Poema Abierto” Span-ish Open Mic ??A new space to share poetry in Spanish whether you are a writer yourself or have a poem you want to bring to the stage! Every 1st Sunday of the month @BloomBars **September 3rd, 7-10pm at BloomBars in Columbia Heights. This month’s musical feature is @kahloguerrero ???Hosted by Camilo Montoya, a Nicaraguan writer and spoken word artist, raised in Silver Spring, MD. He is best known in the DMV area for his 2020 performances at The Kennedy Center and Strathmore. With his group "Camilo y Los Locos", he composes and performs musicalized poetry covering topics around immigration, identity and latinidad with musical influences ranging from cumbia, rock, and Latin-jazz.
