Bloom: The Act of Being

The Act of Being (verb) — A conscious state of presence, embodiment and acceptance. The practice of existence without desire or performance.

Bloom is a three-day workshop centered on theater, movement, and play. Participants will work with various practices, including:

• Yoga
• Breathwork
• Movement Meditation
• Contemplative Dance
• Viewpoints

Each day’s schedule is as follows:

Friday, March 20: 6pm - 8pm

Saturday, March 21: 12pm - 8pm

Sunday, March 22: 10am - 4pm

WHAT TO KNOW:

• Participants are required to attend all three days. The workshop is designed as a continuous arc, each day building on the last.
• There are multiple ticketing options to accommodate various levels of financial resources. Please check the ticketing section of this page to explore options.
• No theater or performance experience is necessary.
• There is free street parking available near the venue.
• Snacks will be provided, as well as a catered meal on Saturday and Sunday.

WHO WE ARE:

Our names are Hannah, Henry, Mary and Sarah. We are a group of artists and local creators committed to sharing the benefits of theatrical and embodied practices beyond traditional performance spaces.

Each of us has a unique background in movement, somatics, and creative practices, offering a rich and supportive environment for curiosity, connection, and growth.

The emphasis throughout the weekend is presence over performance, and we look forward to sharing that experience with the incredible community of the Mile High City!
